I’ve got some new services coming out, craphost.com and fuckingservers.com. Finally got the logos done for me, I’m working on the actual sites and services now.
Today was a busy day, at Airbiquity we went live with the Ford Sync Project, but before that I did some work for my own project.
We installed some new hardware, this includes 2 new VM servers and a storage array as well as networking equipment.
I’m sure most have seen this by now but this project is still growing and you should see it every couple weeks to see the progress.
This project was started by a goon (Ryan Allen) with lots of artistic talent at the SA forums, and it immediately snowballed. The idea is similar to previous projects such as the blue ball manipulator and goontower, essentially goons of all shapes and sizes put together their collective talent and made this awesome city.
After getting dugg a few times and in general slammed by tons of sites they had a problem paying their bills so I offered to help them out with their bandwidth. Here’s what it looks like since I’ve started helping, it’s declining but I’d love to see it hit the front pages yet again.
So I’ve decided to actually make my actual site finally. I haven’t really fleshed it out but I plan to put up details regarding all my current projects and basically just talking about my life and my work as a web developer.
Nobody will be reading this for sure but I’ll make sure to keep whoever wants to know up to date with all the happenings in my travels and the problems I run into while coding my language of choice, PHP.
